The Swan
Augusta Jalving , Denmark“The Swan Beat” is inspired by the story of The Ugly Duckling, made from sterling silver (925) and gold (painted or whole 18K). A reminder of transformation, growth, and finding your place. It’s about becoming yourself through time, rhythm, and courage. The swan represents the beauty of change, the movement between who you were and who you’re becoming. This piece connects that feeling with design, sound, and identity. It was my favorite childhood story from H. C. Andersen as a child.
The Designer
I’m a 26-year-old from Denmark, currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in Designculture. I love creating with my hands drawing, painting, making jewellery, knitting, and ceramics. I’m inspired by quiet moments, nature, and Japanese–Scandinavian aesthetics. Most of all, I love turning small feelings or stories into something visual and tactile.
